This summer I managed to get some time to go out to Tinos island. I had never taken pictures in that spot before so I was eager to explore it. While i was there, I met Kostas Migkos, a surfer that stands out straight away. We chatted and decided to do some shots the next day. We woke up early in the morning when the line up is empty and the light is proper and tried our chemistry. Migkos surfs with so much passion and he never lets a wave go unridden. His is a styler on the board and a chilled-out straight up guy. He surely sets the local surfing level higher. Hope you score some more waves out there bro!

This is one of my best shots of that session. Totally in focus, eyes fixed on the wave, perfect positioning next to the surfer. I need a new wide-angle lens though.

The spot. Kolybithra is on the north side of the island and the line up is on the side next to the rocks at the end of the beach. It’s one of the most beautiful spots in Greece.
